We strive to make environmentally friendly products with the aim of passing on an abundant natural environment to future generations.

As a company operating out of Ogaki City, which is known as “the City of Water” due to its abundant water resources, we feel an obligation to pass on this beautiful natural environment to future generations. We have established environmental management systems that aim to reduce our usage of resources, energy consumption and our waste generation across all our business activities and transportation and shipping methods, and we work to protect the environment accordingly.

Environmental Policy

We consider environmental protection across all aspects of our business activities and support the creation of a comfortable earth environment and thriving societies.

[Slogan]

Seeking environmental friendliness on earth.

[Activity Policy]

In addition to contributing to society through the manufacture and sales of automotive parts and press-forming parts, we believe our location in Ogaki City, known as the “City of Water,” gives us an obligation to pass on this beautiful natural environment to future generations. We strive to protect the environment by operating under various environmental management systems.

  • To pursue "environmentally friendly management" that reduces our usage of resources, energy consumption and waste generation by optimizing efficiency across all our business activities, we have set objectives and targets within a scope deemed to be technologically and economically feasible, and have proposed and executed plans accordingly.
  • While complying with environment-related laws, ordinances and treaties applicable to the environmental aspects of our operations as well as requirements we have separately agreed to, we strive to prevent environmental pollution through ongoing environmental management.
  • We review our environmental objectives and targets periodically. If deemed necessary based on changes in social conditions or other factors, we conduct reviews immediately and thus aim to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Through education and internal promotional activities, we cultivate an understanding of our environmental policy and disseminate environmental information among our employees, and thus strive to improve knowledge and awareness of environmental improvement. As part of a broader effort, we also reach out to our customers and request their understanding of, and cooperation with, our environmental protection activities.

We disclose our environmental policy to the general public.

Environmental Protection Initiatives

●The headquarters factory has metal insulation sandwich panels next door and uses gas heat pumps for air conditioning

The new headquarters factory, completed in 2019, uses metal insulated sandwich panels for partition walls and gas heat pumps for air conditioning. By managing energy usage and infrastructure facilities in each area of the factory through the central monitoring system, we have successfully reduced CO2 emissions by more than 30% compared to the old factory.

●Installation of Solar Panels (PPA Service)

Starting in 2023, we began solar power generation using the PPA model on the rooftop of the 4th factory at our headquarters. This initiative is expected to reduce approximately 121 tons of CO2 annually (emission factor: 0.388 kg-CO2/kWh).

●Introduction of Green Electricity

Starting in the 2024 fiscal year, all electricity used at the Ogaki factory will be provided by "Green Energy* (Chubu Electric Power Mirai)," which is CO2-free. This initiative is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 3,800 tons annually.

●Strengthening Solar Power Initiatives at the Thailand Factory (Company-Owned)

Regarding the solar power generation implemented at our Thailand factory since 2018, we expanded the power generation facilities in September 2024 (panel capacity: 655 kW, annual power generation: approximately 757 MWh). As a result, it is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 347.6 tons annually. Combined with the existing systems, the total reduction is expected to be around 397 tons per year.
